INEOS Grenadier Exterior Windshield & Window Covers

Ice on the windshield costs you ten minutes and a scraped knuckle every winter morning, and in summer a parked Grenadier turns into an oven with a dashboard slowly bleaching in the sun. These covers go on the OUTSIDE of the glass, which is the difference that matters: an exterior cover stops ice from ever bonding to the windshield and stops solar load before it gets through the glass, where an interior panel can only deal with the heat after it has already arrived.

The windshield cover is held by strong magnets plus elastic straps, so it stays put in wind and weather rather than peeling off overnight, and it is cut around the Grenadier's screen; tell us if you run a snorkel so the shape clears it. The driver and passenger covers are a different design: they slip over the window frames, so they seal the door glass without anything stuck to the surface. The material is UV-resistant, which is the point of the whole exercise, since the sun is what fades the dash, the seats and the trim. Covered glass is also opaque glass, so nobody walking past can inventory what is on your seats.

What to know before you buy

These are exterior covers, not insulated interior panels. They stop ice, block the sun and give you privacy, but they are not an insulation layer for sleeping in the vehicle; for that, see our interior insulated window covers.
