The fuel tank hangs low and unprotected under your 4Runner, right in the path of rocks and ruts. This skid plate bolts over it to take the impacts that would otherwise dent or puncture the tank, so a bad line on the trail doesn't end your trip.
Fitment: 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner (5th Gen).
Pick 3/16" American steel for maximum toughness or 1/4" aircraft-grade aluminum to save weight, and finish it in RAW or powder coat to match your build. Installation is 100% bolt-on using a mix of factory and grade 8 hardware, with zero modification to the truck.
