The Front Runner Dometic Expedition Rail Kit transforms an 8-slat (1560mm) Front Runner Slimline II Roof Rack into an expedition-style tray with secure raised sides. The front and rear stay open, so oversized loads like a kayak, surfboard or timber slide on easily and edge accessories such as a jerry can holder have a solid mounting point.
Installation takes minutes and needs no drilling, and the rails wear the same weather-resistant powder coat as your rack. Because the design is fully modular, you can pull a rail section off any time you need clearance, such as when swinging a rooftop tent open.
