This Diode Dynamics harness wires a C1R HitchMount LED pod to the factory connectors under the bumper of a 2019-2023 GMC Sierra 1500. Once installed, the pod in the hitch receiver works as a red running light with the tail lights, a fourth brake light, and a bright backup light in reverse.
The harness uses 10 AWG wire and dual Deutsch DT outputs, and Diode quotes a five-minute install. Diode also mentions an optional SafetyStrobe mode.
