The Diode Dynamics HP48 replaces a 7440 or 7443 turn signal bulb with 48 LED chips under a diffused cover. A cap on the tip sends light back toward the reflector, which gives an even glow in the housing, and the cover looks clean when the bulb is off.
At 250 lumens, Diode is upfront that the HP48 is a cosmetic upgrade: it matches the factory bulb's output while giving the crisp look and instant on-off of an LED. Constant-current circuitry and transient suppression keep it from flickering, backed by a three-year replacement warranty. Swapping to LED turn bulbs can trigger fast blinking on some vehicles; check yours before installing.
