The Diode Dynamics 74 SMD1 is a low-profile LED replacement for any 74-size bulb, the tiny wedge bulb found in vanity mirrors, gauge clusters and switches. A single 5050 SMD chip changes the yellow incandescent glow to a clean cool white.
At 16 measured lumens it gives about the same light as the original, so it is a color upgrade rather than a brightness one. An embedded load resistor and diode help reliability, and light plastic contacts keep it from vibrating loose. Turn 14 lists it for 2010-2014 Ford F-150 applications.
