The Basic 511 is Morakniv's carbon-steel everyday utility knife β simple, sharp, and remarkably easy to bring back to a keen edge. The high-carbon blade takes and holds an aggressive edge, and the larger impact-resistant handle with finger guard fills the hand for safe, controlled cuts.
Carbon steel rewards a little care: wipe the blade down and add a touch of oil after each use to keep corrosion at bay. Ships in a Combi-Sheath. Hardened in Mora, Sweden.
