The vulnerable hardware lives underneath: sump, steering, transmission and transfer case. This ARB underbody protection system armours those areas with heavy-gauge steel skid plates engineered to the Ranger's chassis, so a hidden rock or a deep rut doesn't end the trip. The plates are formed and drilled to bolt on at factory mounting points and are shaped to clear drain plugs for servicing.
Steel adds weight and it's a genuine underbody install — plan for a hoist or ramps — but the trade is real protection where thin alloy bash plates flex and fold. Finished to resist corrosion off-road.
