The ARB Old Man Emu BP-51 front coilover is a complete adjustable strut assembly — bypass monotube damper, external reservoir and coil spring pre-assembled and ready to bolt in. This is the right-hand (passenger-side) front unit for the Ford Ranger, and it is the front half of a true BP-51 system.
The position-sensitive bypass tuning delivers a supple on-road ride while ramping up damping deep in the stroke to control a nose-heavy Ranger under braking and over big impacts. External reservoirs add oil capacity and heat management for fast desert miles, and the clicker adjusters let you tune compression and rebound as your build and load change. Trade-off: it is a premium-priced assembly and is designed to run with the matching BP-51 rear shocks and vehicle-specific fitting kit for a balanced, warranty-correct setup.
