The ARB BASE Rack Wide Horizontal Mount adds a strong, flat attachment point for gear that mounts on its side, such as work lights, communication accessories or solar panels. Each kit includes two powder-coated steel brackets that clamp horizontally into the dovetail at any location on the BASE Rack.
Like the rest of the BASE Rack range, the dovetail system lets you add, move and reposition the brackets in seconds without disturbing the rest of your load, and the extrusion won't collect the dust and debris that traditional roof-rack channels do. The trade-off is capacity: each bracket is rated for small items up to 13 lb, so heavier gear needs a dedicated mount. Fasteners for attachment to the BASE Rack are included.
