Yankum Ropes
3" Heavy Duty Tow Strap
Choose options
A kinetic rope stretches to snatch a stuck vehicle free. A tow strap does the opposite job: no stretch, for controlled, steady pulls and towing dead weight. Reach for this when you are moving something big in a straight, deliberate line — not snatching it.
The Yankum 3" heavy-duty tow strap is the biggest static strap we make, built for full-size trucks, tractors, equipment and anything that outweighs good sense. Available in 20' and 30' lengths.
This is not a kinetic rope. It does not stretch. Do not use it for dynamic snatch recoveries — for that, use a kinetic rope sized to the recovery vehicle.

Which length
Go 20' for tighter setups and shorter recovery zones; 30' when you need more reach or want more distance between the vehicles.
Use it safely
Attach to frame-mounted, recovery-rated tow points with a soft shackle or rated hitch — never a bumper, tow ball, or axle. Keep pulls in a straight line, do not jerk a static strap, and keep bystanders clear. Inspect before use and retire it if the webbing is cut, heavily abraded, or the eyes are worn through.
Mildew-, moisture- and UV-resistant mil-spec webbing. Made in the USA. Not sure what you need? Ask us.
