2 lb Wood-Craft Camp Carver — 16" Curved Handle with Leather Mask

Council Tool's Wood-Craft Camp Carver is a do-everything bushcraft and carving axe you won't baby. Choke up on the bearded, flat-ground blade for fine woodworking and detail carving, or use it for everyday camp chores without worrying about a nick or a little dirt. Its heritage traces to the rigger's axes of North America and the bearded axes of Northern Europe.
A swept toe, generous bit length, and a radiused area under the hammer poll let your hand ride high for shaving and controlled cuts. The hardened poll doubles as a hammer, balances the head, and adds leverage when choked up. A 90° spine scrapes tinder and throws sparks off a ferro rod when you need a fire.
The premium hickory handle follows a vintage pattern with a generous palm swell for a secure hold, a large hatchet eye for strength, and a comfortable grip up near the head. It ships with a welted leather mask.
