Heavy Metal Off-Road Bed Bars for the 2024-2026 Ford Ranger give the new Ranger an overhead tent or cargo platform. Heights run 9, 19 and 23 in, plus a 23 in Softopper version with a wider, longer foot.
Each bar is bent from 1.75 in OD, 11-gauge HREW steel tube and lands on vehicle-specific feet. Order a single bar, a set of two or a set of three. HMOR rates the two-bar set at 500 lb and the three-bar set at 750 lb, static and in smooth-motion driving, with the load spread evenly; it publishes no rating for a single bar, and the truck's own payload limit still applies. The pinch clamp has to grip the bed's metal structure, so the factory bedside plastic must be trimmed for a metal-to-metal fit.
HMOR does not offer a spacer that clamps over the plastic, so plan on that trim work. These bars are supplied in raw steel, HMOR's standard finish, so plan to paint or coat them before they see weather.
