Heavy Metal Off-Road Bed Bars for the 2019-2026 RAM 1500 are built for the fifth gen DT truck only. They add a high platform for a rooftop tent or lumber and leave the bed, RamBox or not, free below.
The bars are 1.75 in outside diameter, 11-gauge HREW steel, with feet matched to this bed. Buy one bar, two or three. With an even load, HMOR rates two bars at 500 lb and three at 750 lb, parked or in smooth driving; there is no published single-bar figure, and trail impacts can exceed the smooth-motion rating. The 1500 Classic (DS) is a different bed and is not covered. Mounting is HMOR's no-drill pinch clamp, with no bed cap or plastic trim to trim.
These bars are supplied in raw steel, HMOR's standard finish, so plan to paint or coat them before they see weather. Pair them with HMOR's bed rack accessories, such as utility crossmembers or bolt-on tube mounts, or browse more truck bed racks. More for this truck is in RAM 1500.
