Toyota Tacoma 1995-2004 Bed Bars by Heavy Metal Off-Road
Choose options
Heavy Metal Off-Road Bed Bars for the 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma bring a modern overhead system to the 1st gen truck. They lift a rooftop tent or long cargo above the bed rails and leave the bed itself open for a fridge, drawers or a cap.
Construction is 11-gauge HREW steel tube at 1.75 in OD on application-specific feet, sold singly or in sets of two or three. HMOR's ratings assume evenly spread weight: 500 lb for a pair and 750 lb for three bars, static or smooth-motion dynamic. Single bars carry no published rating, and never load past the truck's payload. First gen beds have no factory rail, so every configuration uses HMOR's no-drill pinch clamp. A 23 in Softopper height with a wider, longer foot is offered for trucks running a soft cap.
These bars are supplied in raw steel, HMOR's standard finish, so plan to paint or coat them before they see weather. Pair them with HMOR's bed rack accessories, such as utility crossmembers or bolt-on tube mounts, or browse more truck bed racks.
