Mountain Hatch Tailgate Cutting Board & Table for 2020+ Jeep Gladiator JT

Mountain Hatch's Tailgate Table for the Jeep Gladiator JT is a 1/2-inch food-grade HDPE panel that replaces the factory tailgate insert with a flat, food-safe counter. Two drink holders and a recessed utility tray are molded in, which on a 5-foot bed is a meaningful amount of kitchen.

Installation is the standard swap at the factory mounting locations with no drilling. The UV-stabilized surface wipes clean and protects the gate when the bikes go in. Mountain Hatch lists the fitment as 2019-2027; the Gladiator launched as a 2020 model and the tailgate is unchanged through the current truck. Each panel is made to order in Riverside, California: the outline is machine-cut, then the edges and pockets are finished by hand, so allow production time.

Set expectations before you buy. The surface is textured HDPE, which means it will take knife marks like a kitchen board and is slick when wet. The panel is not structural, so it protects the tailgate skin without reinforcing it. And the added weight lets the factory damper open the gate a touch faster than stock, though, as Mountain Hatch notes, it will not slam open.
