Moab Seat Organizer

If you work out of your vehicle, the seat back is the only surface big enough to hold a laptop flat and keep it out of the sun and out of sight. The Moab Seat Organizer is built around that job: 17.5" wide by 22" long, with dedicated device storage front and back rather than one deep sack you have to dig through.

Two zippered device pockets — one on the front face, one on the rear face against the seat — let you separate a laptop from a tablet, or keep the work machine on the hidden side. A dedicated tablet/map pocket sits behind a flap so a screen or a paper map is not on display through the window. A tissue pocket is exactly what it sounds like, and it is there because tissues otherwise end up in the door bin. The rest of the panel is broken into pockets and compartments for smaller kit, all closed with heavy-duty zippers. It mounts on dual upper quick-release buckles with lower straps to stop it swinging under braking. Velcro loop on the pocket flaps takes ID or name tags, which matters when a work truck is shared between crews.

What to know before you buy

It needs a headrest to mount to. The rear device pocket sits between the organizer and the seat back, so on a thin or heavily contoured seat a large laptop in that pocket can be felt by whoever is sitting in front.
