Fire Extinguisher Headrest Pouch
Choose options
A fire extinguisher does no good in the back of the vehicle under a duffel bag. The point of the Fire Extinguisher Headrest Pouch is reach: the bottle hangs off the back of a front seat, where either front occupant can turn and grab it, and anyone in the second row can get to it without leaving their seat. Seconds matter, and a drawer costs you all of them.
It is built for a 3 lb extinguisher — the bottle in our photos is 13.5" tall with a 3.25" diameter, about a 10" circumference. Heavy-duty adjustable straps with velcro attachment wrap most headrest posts, so it fits across vehicles rather than one seat. A non-slip lined flap closes over the bottle and grips it, which is what stops an extinguisher walking out of its pouch on a washboard road — the usual failure of an open elastic loop. Compact enough that it does not eat rear knee room. Need a pouch for a different bottle size? Email sales@overlandgearguy.com and we will quote a custom.

What to know before you buy
The extinguisher is not included, and the pouch is cut for a 3 lb bottle. Measure yours — diameter matters more than weight rating. Anything outside that is a custom order.
