The CARAJAS™ Heavy Copper-Head Peg Hammer is Muraco’s signature hammer, combining portability with the strength needed to drive forged pegs into tough ground. Designed with a replaceable brass striking surface, the head delivers concentrated weight for a precise, confident swing. Over time, the brass head will naturally deform with use—but it’s replaceable, ensuring long-term reliability in the field.

The brass head helps absorb shock on impact, reducing fatigue during repeated use. Compatible with forged iron, aluminum, or titanium pegs, the hammer offers versatile performance across a variety of materials. Its straight, compact form makes it easy to store and carry, whether packed in a gear box, rolled into a tent bag, or clipped to a loop.
