The Midland MXT275 solves the classic overland problem: no dash space. Every control lives in the palm mic, so the radio body hides under a seat or behind the dash while you run the whole thing one-handed. At 15 watts it's a real step up from a handheld without the footprint of a 50W unit.
- All controls in the mic — channel, volume, and display in your hand; the compact body tucks anywhere.
- 15 GMRS channels + 8 split-tone repeater channels for extended range through repeaters, with NOAA weather scan + alerts.
- Ships ready to run with the 2.1 dB magnetic-mount antenna, and charges other devices over USB-C.
Worth knowing: 15W is the sweet spot for tighter convoys and moderate terrain; for long-distance desert running, step up to the 50W MXT500 or MXT575. Authorized Midland dealer; GMRS license required.
