Goose Gear Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series Rear Plate System — 1991-1997

Every Land Cruiser build starts with the Rear Plate System. It replaces the rear factory slide and carpet kit with a flat, clean surface that Goose Gear modules or your own storage bolt to, with all required anchors pre-installed. It works with the Second Row Seat Delete to make a complete sleeping platform, and it installs without cutting or drilling the vehicle.

Who it's for

A great fit if you have a 1991-1997 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series and want a flat, bolt-in base for drawers, a camp kitchen or a sleep platform. Look elsewhere if you have a 60, 100, 200 or 250 Series, each of which uses its own plate.

• Fits the 1991-1997 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series.
• Does not require cutting or drilling the vehicle; secures to existing threaded inserts with the included fasteners.
• Requires removing the rear factory slide and carpet kit, the rear carpet, underlayment foam and some plastic trim, and is designed for complete removal of the third-row seats.
• V2 widened anchor points run an IceBox or camp kitchen alongside a single or double drawer up to 24-3/16" wide; single drawers come in 36" and 40" lengths.
• For a standard-profile sleep platform, use the 24-3/16"W x 8"H x 40"D modules or the Side-by-Side module at 43-3/8"W x 8"H x 40"D.

Common questions

Do I need this before anything else? Yes. The drawers, seat deletes and camp-kitchen modules all bolt to this plate.

Does it require drilling? No. The 80 Series plate bolts to existing threaded inserts with no cutting or drilling.

What is the V2 plate? A revision with widened anchor points, so you can run wider modules up to 24-3/16" alongside a camp kitchen or IceBox.

Can I sleep in the back? Yes. Add the Second Row Seat Delete to turn the plate into a complete sleeping platform.

What has to come out to install it? The factory slide and carpet kit, the rear carpet, underlayment foam, some trim, and the third-row seats.
