Propane Tank Cap Cover - The Tank Top
Choose options
The top of a propane cylinder is the part that matters and the part nobody protects. The valve, the threads and the regulator connection sit exposed above the collar, and between trips they collect dust, mud and moisture, which is how threads get gritty and cross-thread on the next hookup. On a tank mounted outside the vehicle it is worse: road spray goes straight in. The Tank Top covers the cap and the valve so the business end of the tank stays clean.
It is cut from HD 18 oz fade-resistant vinyl, the same material we use for exterior bags, because a tank cover lives in UV and weather and a lighter fabric would go brittle and chalky within a season. Vinyl also wipes down, which is what you want on something that spends its life catching the grime that would otherwise be inside your valve threads.

What to know before you buy
Cover only. The propane tank is not included. This covers the top of the cylinder, not the whole tank, and it is not a substitute for the tank's own valve cap where the manufacturer specifies one.
