The Camp Clutch

Wipes and gloves are only useful if you can get to them one-handed, because the moment you need them your other hand is holding the problem. The Camp Clutch is a 10 x 6 x 3 in pouch with a magnetic closure for exactly that reason — pull a wipe or a glove without unzipping anything, without putting down what you are holding, and without a zipper to fight in the cold.

It is made from heavy-duty, water-resistant Cordura-type material, so campfire grease and a wet tailgate do not end it. Three mounting styles are offered so it goes wherever the mess actually happens: MOLLE webbing loops for a panel or a seat back, strong velcro strips for a smooth surface, or suction cups for a window or a cooler lid. If you order the optional MOLLE-Velcro adapter, it carries MOLLE webbing on one side and velcro on the other — it stays on the panel and the pouch detaches from it, which is what lets you take the Clutch to the mess instead of parking the vehicle next to it. Loaded with nitrile gloves it makes a serviceable first-responder pouch.

What to know before you buy

The MOLLE-Velcro adapter is sold separately — select it at checkout if you want the pouch to detach from the panel and leave the adapter behind. Camo fabrics carry an upcharge.
