REV RACK TENT (shellter)

The Rev Roof Top Tent (shellter) is manufactured from post-consumer recycled bottles. This eco-friendly Rev Tent is 4-season, 2 person Roof Top Tent with a built in mattress that weighs only 25 lbs / 11 kgs and includes  hardware to mount directly to platform style roof racks 48” x 84” / 1220mm x 2134mm or larger. The Rev Rack Tent can also be easily set up on the ground for maximum camping options.  

The  Rev Rack Tent (shellter) features a 100% post-consumer recycled outer fly and inner tent. The spun polyester fibers in this tent were made from approximately 120 plastic water bottles.   

By camping in a Shellter Rev Rack Tent, you help the environment by:

About the fabric pattern:

Inspired by C6 Outdoor founder's pet tortoise King Toot, these earthy geometric shapes are not only rooted in nature, but prevalent in mid-century textiles, flooring and ceramics.

The Rev Rack Tent sets up for sleeping on ANY platform style roof rack as long as it's 84" x 48" / 1220mm x 2134mm or larger and has slats separated by no more than 8" / 203mm. 

The Rev Rack Tent has been designed to attach at specific points to the appropriately sized Front Runner, Rhino and Yakima Racks using included hardware. For all other popular roof rack brands, we include the Rev Straps to secure the tent to the roof rack.  

Basket style roof racks may interfere with the doorways and are not ideal, but can also be used as long as there is proper floor support.

The Rev Ladder is Sold Separately. If you have a way to climb up your vehicle - a rear mounted ladder, a rear swing mounted tire, up over the hood, etc - you don’t need a ladder for your Rev Rack Tent. If you need a ladder, get it here.
