The Front Runner Dometic Quick Release Tent Mount Kit is a must-have if you run a rooftop tent, letting you fit or remove it in seconds with no tools. Perfect if garage clearance is tight or you would rather not drive around with the tent on all week, the four lockable latches give you an off-road-tough, rattle-free mount that works with a wide range of soft- and hard-shell rooftop tents.
Once the four low-profile base brackets are bolted to your Front Runner rack, you simply release the latch tabs and lift the tent away. Self-aligning bushes secure the tent to the base channels using the appropriate tent channel set, and safety catches keep everything locked down on the trail. The brackets are small and unobtrusive, so you can leave them on the rack when the tent is off and keep the rest of your rack space free. All mounting hardware and fitting instructions are included.
Important: hard-shell tents need additional lateral support — if the tent cannot rest directly on the rack or its side profiles, add the appropriate support bracket to protect your tent and its warranty.
