When you've aired down miles past the last cell bar, a 5-watt handheld won't cut it — the Midland MXT575 is the honest answer. At a full 50 watts it's the most powerful GMRS radio the FCC allows, and Midland moved every control into the palm mic so the radio body tucks behind a seat or under the dash — ideal for modern rigs with no spare real estate.

  • Full 50W output for real range on the trail, with 15 GMRS channels plus 8 repeater channels (split-tone capable) to reach through terrain.
  • NOAA weather scan + alert keeps you ahead of conditions; 142 privacy codes keep your convoy's channel clear.
  • Integrated-control palm mic with backlit display, and it ships with the magnetic-mount antenna and cable — a complete kit out of the box.

Worth knowing: 50 watts wants a solid ground plane, so the included magnetic mount performs best on a metal roof or hood — a bull-bar antenna mount is the common upgrade for fiberglass or slanted panels. Pairs with the rest of our two-way radios and comms gear. As an authorized Midland dealer, it's backed by the full manufacturer warranty.
