The Midland 75-822 is two radios in one: a full 40-channel CB you can carry as a handheld, then drop into the included mobile adapter to run it hardwired with an external antenna in the truck. It's the flexible pick for trails where CB is still the standard — rock crawling, guided runs, and established convoys.

  • Handheld or mobile — the included adapter and mount convert it from a walk-around to a dash-mounted CB in seconds.
  • All 40 CB channels at 4 watts (the legal CB maximum), plus NOAA weather channels.
  • No license required — CB is open to everyone.

Worth knowing: CB range is modest and leans hard on a well-tuned antenna; many overland groups have moved to GMRS for clarity and range — see our GMRS radios — but where a run specifies CB, this 2-in-1 covers both bases. Authorized Midland dealer.
