Goose Gear Jeep Wrangler JLU 4-Door (2018–2023) Rear Plate System

The JLU Rear Plate System is the flat, bolt-in foundation the rest of your Goose Gear build attaches to — it replaces the factory carpet floor with a level deck that accepts Jeep-specific drawer modules, an IceBox or CampKitchen, and second-row seat deletes. It's industrial-grade plywood with Goose Gear's proprietary protective coating. At 28 pounds it also works as a plain load floor for a fridge slide, dog crate or gear.

Who it's for

A great fit if you want the base every other Goose Gear JLU module bolts to — drawers, seat delete or galley. Look elsewhere if you have a 2-door (use the JL 2-Door plate), a 4xe or a 392 — each has its own plate — or you only want a tailgate table.

Common questions

Do I need this before anything else? Yes — the drawers, seat deletes and camp-kitchen modules all bolt to this plate. It's the foundation of the system.

Which version do I choose? Match your Jeep: With Subwoofer or Non-Subwoofer, plus which side you want the access door — driver or passenger.

Does it require drilling? No — it bolts in at factory points. Install does permanently remove the carpet floor between the side panels.

What can I mount on it? Single and double drawer modules, a universal CampKitchen or IceBox, a Solo Fridge Slide, and a second-row seat delete — or your own gear.

Will it fit a 4xe or 392? No — those have their own rear plates. This one is the standard JLU 4-door, 2018–2023.

Drawer storage: Universal Goose Gear drawer modules bolt onto the plate in the JL widths — a Single Drawer 19-3/16″×25″ or Double Drawer 18-3/16″×25″ for the 4-door (18-3/16″ or 20-3/16″ paired with 19-3/16″), or the deeper 19-3/16″×36″ single in the 2-door bay.
