Loose gear in a drawer or a cargo box does not stay where you put it. The JB Large Storage Bag is a 14 in deep x 12 in tall x 8 in wide block that gives a category of kit a fixed home — and, more usefully, a fixed shape, so the things around it stop collapsing into the gap.

The three-sided zipper opens the top right out, so you see the entire contents at once instead of reaching blind into a slot. A velcro loop on the outside takes a custom ID tag — the only thing that makes a row of identical bags navigable. Hand-sewn from heavy-duty fabric, and it folds flat when it is empty, so an unused bag is not costing you a bag-sized hole in the drawer.
