The volume above your head in a campervan is the last unused space in the build. Meanwhile coats, pillows and blankets — the bulkiest, lightest things you own — are eating floor and bed area that you actually need. This ceiling hammock is a gear attic: it turns that dead overhead volume into storage for exactly the soft goods that should not be on the floor.
It measures 30 x 60 in and supports up to 150 lb, so it will also take a person — it doubles as a hammock for a kid or an extra sleeping spot. Adjustable straps attach it to L-track, which means no drilling and no permanent bracket: it goes up in minutes and folds down small when the van is in a different configuration. L-track studs are sold separately.

What to know before you buy
You need L-track in the van, and L-track studs are not included. The 150 lb limit is a real limit — it is the number that lets you use this as a kid's hammock, not an invitation to load it with tools or water.
