Sterling Power BBC1225 – 12V 25A DC-DC Battery Charger [Clearance]
Choose options
The Sterling Power BBC1225 is a compact 12V-to-12V battery-to-battery (DC-DC) charger delivering up to 24A at 14.4V — an efficient, space-saving choice for smaller lithium and AGM auxiliary banks. Offered here at clearance pricing.
Unlike a voltage-sensitive relay, the Saturn charger measures both current and voltage to move intelligently through bulk, absorption, and float, giving your batteries a correct, complete charge on every drive. It runs at up to 98% efficiency and carries six preset battery profiles (Lead, AGM, and Lithium — two of each).

Key Features
- Up to 24A output at 14.4V from a compact, lightweight body
- Up to 98% efficient
- Six battery profiles for lead, AGM, and lithium banks
- Included TEMP1 temperature sensor for lead/AGM voltage compensation
- Self-recovering protections and conformal-coated internals; CE/UKCA approved; 5-year warranty
Smart Alternator / Euro-6 Ready
Three engagement modes cover any vehicle: automatic voltage sense, ignition-feed control (for smart/Euro-6 alternators), and vibration sense (begins charging after detecting engine vibration — no ignition wire required).
Installation Notes
Requires a common, direct negative between the starter battery, charger, and auxiliary bank. The positive input must come from a circuit with a starter battery or Alternator Linearisation Device — not straight off a bare alternator. Fuse both input and output; recommended cable is 6mm² (10AWG) with 30A fusing for runs under 3m. Note: the BBC1225 has limited configurability via the BBR remote and does not support custom charge profiles.
