The 8XL is Baja Designs' linkable roof-light system, and this kit is built to bolt across the roofline of the 2005+ Toyota Tacoma. Rather than a single sealed bar, the 8XL links individual XL-style lights together, so you get a modular wall of light with the same serviceability and optics Baja builds into its round lights. The kit includes the vehicle-specific mounting needed for a clean, direct-fit installation.
Because the system is linkable, lenses and optics are field-replaceable through Baja Designs' patented uService design — damage one lens on the trail and you swap it rather than the whole light. The ClearView optic delivers a broad, even wash of light that covers the full width of the trail from the roofline, giving you a commanding view over the hood on high-speed dirt roads and technical night sections alike.
