This is the step return for ARB's Summit side rail system on the 2011-on Ford Ranger PX and Mazda BT-50 — the angled end section that steps the rail down behind the front wheel and blends the Summit side protection into the body line. It improves access to the tray and cab and cuts the stone chips road debris throws at the sills.
Formed from durable steel to match the Summit range, it acts as a strong barrier against rock ledges. Two honest points: it is protection and access, not a true rock slider for aggressive crawling; and it is a companion piece that requires the matching Summit rail (PN 4440140), sold separately, and will not mount on its own. Note this suits the global PX-generation Ranger / BT-50, not the North American Ranger.
