This is the step return for ARB's Summit side rail system on the 2015-on Ford Everest — the angled end section that steps the rail down behind the front wheel and blends the Summit side protection into the body line. ARB protection steps like this improve access to the vehicle and cut the stone chips thrown up by road debris.
It is formed from durable steel to match the Summit range and acts as a strong barrier between the Everest and trailside ledges. Set expectations correctly: it is not a true rock slider for aggressive crawling, and it is a companion piece — it requires the matching Summit side rail (PN 4440180), sold separately, and will not mount alone. As part of the Summit side system it completes the run; on its own it does nothing.
