The Old Man Emu BP-51 is ARB's premium bypass shock absorber, engineered for drivers who load their rig heavy and still want composed control on rough ground. This is the rear left-hand unit for the Toyota Hilux.
BP-51 shocks use position-sensitive bypass valving, so damping firms up progressively through the stroke instead of relying on a single fixed rate. Rebound and compression are externally adjustable by hand, letting you tune the ride to your load and terrain without removing the shock.
