Built for the 4-door Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited, they bolt directly to the chassis across multiple mounting points so they can shoulder the weight of the vehicle when you slide a body onto a rock — not just deflect stone chips.
This is the textured black finish, a hard-wearing powder coat that hides scuffs better than a gloss coat. The trade-off with a true rock slider like this is weight and price versus a light tube side-step — but that mass is exactly what protects sheet metal on serious terrain. For milder use, ARB's protection steps are lighter and cheaper.
