ARB's Deluxe Rock Sliders wrap the vulnerable rocker of the 4-door Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited in a continuous run of tubular steel. Unlike a light nerf-style step, these are engineered to take the full weight of the vehicle, so you can pivot off a rock ledge and let the slider — not your door sill — wear the hit. Multiple chassis mounting points spread the load into the frame.
They protect against rocks, logs and deep ruts while doubling as a step for roof access. The honest trade-off: at 60.3mm steel these add real weight and sit lower than a trim side-step, so ground clearance drops slightly and installation is a bolt-on but a two-person job. Worth it if you actually crawl; overkill if you only want stone-chip protection.
