The Sterling Power AB12400 is a high-output alternator-to-battery charger. It takes the raw output of your vehicle's alternator and delivers a controlled, multi-stage charge to your auxiliary battery bank — recovering batteries far faster than an alternator alone while protecting them from over- and under-charging. Sterling's alternator-to-battery chargers step the charge through bulk, absorption, and float and support multiple battery chemistries, so a discharged bank is brought back correctly and completely rather than left part-charged the way a standard alternator leaves it.
