This one’s a bit of an odd beast. The team at Proffitt’s Resurrection Land Cruisers went all out with this build. It began life as a 1993 Toyota FZJ80 Landcruiser, but has since been stretched 20 inches and fitted with the cab from a 79-Series. The factory drive train was also ditched in favor of a Cummins R2.8 crate engine and part time 4WD H55F 5-speed transmission. They say the best defense is a strong offense. They also say you can’t go wrong charging into battle with a set of 40” mud terrains powered by an absolutely massive 7.3L V8 turbo-diesel. There are few engines as iconic (at least in the states) as the venerable 7.3L Powerstroke V8. It’s from an era before temperamental DEF systems, has gobs of torque and is extremely reliable.
