22-26-ford-maverick-mountain-hatch-tailgate-table
Mountain Hatch Tailgate Cutting Board & Table for 2022-2026 Ford Maverick

The Mountain Hatch Tailgate Table for the 2022-2026 Ford Maverick is a 1/2-inch food-grade HDPE panel sized to the compact Maverick tailgate, with two drink holders and a 1/4-inch-deep utility tray molded in. On a truck with a 4.5-foot bed, a flat tailgate counter is a big share of your usable kitchen.

Installation is a swap: factory screws out, OEM panel off, Mountain Hatch in at the stock locations. The surface is food-safe and UV-stabilized, and it protects the gate from bikes and camp gear. Mountain Hatch lists this fitment under U.S. Design Patent D929307. These are built to order in Riverside, California, not pulled off a shelf. The cut is done by machine and the finishing by hand, so expect a production lead before it is ready.

A few honest notes before you order. HDPE is the same material as a kitchen cutting board, so it will pick up knife marks if you press hard and it gets slick when wet, which matters if the truck is parked on a slope. It is a work surface rather than armor, so it will not stiffen the tailgate. And because the panel adds weight to the gate, Mountain Hatch notes that the factory tailgate damper will let it open a little faster than stock, though it will not slam.

Specifications

Fits

2022-2026 Ford Maverick

Versions

Recessed version with drink holders and utility tray

Material

Heavy-duty 1/2-inch FDA-approved HDPE with UV inhibitors

Surface

Food-safe, similar to a commercial cutting board

Color

Black

Installation

Remove factory screws and OEM tailgate panel, install Mountain Hatch, reinstall with appropriate hardware.

Made in

Made to order in Riverside, California, USA

Design

Original patented Mountain Hatch tailgate table

Fitment and ordering

See all Mountain Hatch panels or the rest of Camp Tables.

Fitment: 2022-2026 Ford Maverick.
